Very few producers have as much range and breadth of experience as Misty Showalter. She was bit by the journalism bug watching the fall of the Berlin Wall as a child, and began working in local newsrooms in college. Her path has taken her around the world covering special projects and events and meeting fascinating people. She's worked for several major networks and streamers including Netflix, CBS News, CNN International, Fox, Discovery, Max, Travel Channel, TLC and Magnolia Network. Her work in the true crime genre put her on set leading crews of as many as 50 in the production of high-end recreations, where she also acted as Script Supervisor.

Misty has had the benefit of working with many talented cinematographers, directors, editors, sound mixers, producers and crew, all with their own impressive resumes.

Her awards include an Edward R. Murrow award for Investigative Reporting, 3 large market Emmy Awards for Investigative Reporting, a Gold Telly award for Television Horror, a Gracie award for Outstanding Soft News Feature, an Associated Press award for Investigative Producing, and a NABJ Salute to Excellence for a Public Affairs Segment.
